The Joanie Bernard Foundation is a nonprofit organization that exists to create a better world for cats by promoting feline welfare, education and funding organizations that share the same mission.

Give Them Ten is a nonprofit movement funded by the Joanie Bernard Foundation. Through a series of ad campaigns over the years, including its mascot Scooter the Neutered Cat, the Give Them Ten™ Movement has promoted the benefits of spay/neuter, fostering, adoption and how to help community cats.
Organizations, groups and projects must meet the following minimum criteria to be eligible for funding consideration:
  • Have a sincere interest in serving feline welfare
  • Be a 501(c)(3) organization
  • Submit a current IRS Form 990
  • Have an annual revenue above $200,000 or total assets of $500,000 or more
  • Be located within 100 miles of Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Have a physical location and agree to an on-site visit
Organizations, groups and projects that meet at least the minimum criteria may request funding consideration via the online letter of inquiry.
